Google Maps is back on iPhone after it was replaced by Apple’s own Map application on iOS 6.
Google Maps was always default map application on iOS, but with launch of iOS 6 Apple tried to part its ways from Google Maps by replacing it with its own home grown map application.
But Apple’s Map application failed miserably and Apple’s CEO Tim Cook had to write an open apology latter for it and he suggested users to use some third party alternative.
Finally Google released its Map application again for iOS on 13th Dec,2012 and on the very first day of launch it has become most popular free application in Apple store.
Best part of all this conflict is that current version of Google Maps is much superior to its previous iOS versions and comes with a full Voice Navigation system which was missing in the old Google Maps.
